Hard Work

I’m from Memphis, TN. We take a lot of pride in working hard. Bees, Anvils and Rockets represent what it means to work hard and succeed.

I grew up swinging a hammer with my grandfather, working for the family construction agency. I learned a lot about sweat and hard work.

I’ve always admired and feared bees, they’re a constant theme in my personal life. They’re perfect examples for what it means to be a hard worker. They’re selfless, smart, work together to achieve a singular goal, and unknowingly their work makes many aspects of life on Earth possible.

You may never know what affect the things you do may have on others, or in the future, but pursuing your work passionately is the cornerstone of success.

When backbreaking work is considered, there aren’t many things tougher than a blacksmith and his anvil. They both take a beating under punishing work, but together create works of art or design solutions for our daily life.

“It’s not rocket science” is the line in the sand for what we think of as “hard to do”.

It’s my hope that when you wear this design, you will be energized and excited to do your best work, no matter how hard it feels. You can do it!
